RMK Supervisory Board appointed the new Management Board of RMK.  11.10

At today’s meeting, RMK’s Supervisory Board confirmed Tavo Uuetalu and Tiit Timberg as members of RMK's Management Board. In accordance with RMK’s statutes, the Chairman of the Management Board submits a proposal to the Supervisory Board regarding the appointment of new members of the Management Board. At the last Supervisory Board meeting, the RMK Supervisory Board elected Aigar Kallas as the Chairman of the Management Board.
The RMK Supervisory Board authorised Mati Polli, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, to enter into contracts of service with the members of the Management Board and a designated remuneration of EUR 4451 per month. Authorisations of the Members of the Management Board are valid for a term of 5 years.

“RMK’s Management Board as a whole has been very successful in running the undertaking. This is why the Supervisory Board decided to trust the entire Management Board for the next 5 years and also proposed that the other current members also continue in office,” Mati Polli, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RMK, explained.

RMK is a profit-making state agency established under the Forestry Act, aimed at sustainable and efficient management of the state forest. RMK grows reforestation materials, organises forestry works, is engaged in the sale of forest and timber and organises game upkeep. Additionally, RMK establishes opportunities for nature walking and forest holidays in recreation areas, in five Estonian national parks and in almost 40 other protected areas, and shapes nature awareness. RMK manages 38% of Estonia’s forests.
